Realistic simulation of an Off-Highway Truck using PC or Replica Controls.

Off-Road Highway Truck

A total of six simulation modules are provided in the off-highway truck personal simulator. A simulator that puts you at the controls of a modern heavy hauler. The modules are designed to bring an operator up to speed in a carefully planned and measured way, starting with Controls Familiarization and ending with Complete Haul Cycle.

The "Replica Controls" feature operator control elements from real Off-Highway Trucks.

In addition to a real steering wheel, the steering column is equipped with a real retarder and turn signal indicators.

The "PC Controls" begin with a commercial USB steering wheel, three pedal set, and gear shifter with pushbuttons from Logitech, the "G25 Racing Wheel".

You will also need a "retarder". An industrial USB lever with matching mounting bracket is available that integrates with the three components from Logitech.

The Off-Highway Truck simulator uses these common off-the-shelf PC input devices (USB) to enable the simulator to be transportable and creates an inexpensive option to the Replica Controls.
